
The Dallas Jewish Community Foundation’s Professional Advisory Committee plays a critical role in the operation, promotion and facilitation of the Foundation’s endowment programs. The committee is composed of lawyers, accountants, bankers, estate planners, financial planners, investment advisors, tax counselors, trust officers, life insurance experts and other professionals.
These professionals guide the Foundation and are available to donors and prospective donors to advise regarding estate planning and business, tax, family and other matters. The ability to refer inquiries on sophisticated legal and tax matters to the Professional Advisory Committee places the Foundation in a very secure position.
Provides consultation to the Foundation on a variety of legal and tax considerations inherent in endowment funding, charitable giving and estate planning.
Disseminates information and good will regarding the Foundation among our community’s legal and accounting professionals.
Helps promote the benefits of the Foundation to donors and clients.
Provides professional support to the staff, Board of Trustees and other committees of the Foundation.
Generates awareness of the various Foundation programs.
Provides education to the Board of Trustees and other committees on estate planning, taxation and charitable contributions.
Prepares informational mailings to estate planners and other professionals on the latest developments and changes in the fields of taxation and charitable contributions.
Conducts educational seminars for estate planners and other professional advisors.
Sustains awareness of the important programs and services provided locally and overseas by contributions to and distributions from the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation.
