About the Scholarship

Hal and Janine Jayson lovingly honor the memory of Hal’s mother, Annette Golman Jayson, and his aunt, Frances Goodman Golman who both lived lives dedicated to Judaism. The scholarship is for a Jewish undergraduate or graduate student to participate in academic study in Israel. Special consideration will be given to women who demonstrate academic merit, financial need, and community involvement.

Passover Holiday Office Hours

The DJCF/SWCF offices will be closed in observance of the Passover holiday on Tuesday, April 23 – Wednesday, April 24 and on Monday, April 29 – Tuesday, April 30.  Any grants made starting on April 18 will be processed upon our return to the office, no later than May 3.  Thank you for your patience and wishing all who celebrate a wonderful holiday.
