About the Scholarship

Sally L. Pian and Ira W. Silverman established this scholarship as a lasting tribute to Sally’s parents with the hope of increasing the number of practicing physicians by enabling deserving students to attend the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Passover Holiday Office Hours

The DJCF/SWCF offices will be closed in observance of the Passover holiday on Tuesday, April 23 – Wednesday, April 24 and on Monday, April 29 – Tuesday, April 30.  Any grants made starting on April 18 will be processed upon our return to the office, no later than May 3.  Thank you for your patience and wishing all who celebrate a wonderful holiday.
