About the Scholarship

The Central American Immigrant Scholarship Fund of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation will help Central American immigrants, who have achieved legal status in the US, attend college. First priority will be given to immigrants who have achieved legal status as a result of legal proceedings for asylum or Special Immigrant Juvenile Status filed by Foley Gardere, formally known as Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP. Second priority is for immigrants residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area who achieved legal status as a result of asylum or SIJS proceedings.

Passover Holiday Office Hours

The DJCF/SWCF offices will be closed in observance of the Passover holiday on Tuesday, April 23 – Wednesday, April 24 and on Monday, April 29 – Tuesday, April 30.  Any grants made starting on April 18 will be processed upon our return to the office, no later than May 3.  Thank you for your patience and wishing all who celebrate a wonderful holiday.
