About the Scholarship

Established by the Sy Saffran family in memory of Bernard, Elinor and Linnea Saffran. This scholarship is awarded to a Jewish high school senior who has shown exceptional commitment to their community with their involvement in religious or community organizations.

Passover Holiday Office Hours

The DJCF/SWCF offices will be closed in observance of the Passover holiday on Tuesday, April 23 – Wednesday, April 24 and on Monday, April 29 – Tuesday, April 30.  Any grants made starting on April 18 will be processed upon our return to the office, no later than May 3.  Thank you for your patience and wishing all who celebrate a wonderful holiday.
