Academic Scholarships

Rooted in Tradition, Investing in Tomorrow: Empowering Minds through Education

About our Scholarships

Since 1991, donors have chosen to partner with DJCF/SWCF in establishing scholarship funds based on financial need, academic merit, involvement in extracurricular activities, and community service. These scholarships reflect our community’s deep-rooted belief in the power of education to transform lives and strengthen identity.

Please note the process is closed for 2026 and will reopen in 2027 for the 27-28 school year. By supporting students in their pursuit of higher education, we are investing in the future leaders of our community and honoring the Jewish tradition of lifelong learning. Our scholarship program is a cornerstone of the Foundation’s mission to foster opportunity, equity, and continuity within the Jewish community and beyond.

As a scholarship applicant, you agree to the following: I will honor the core values of DJCF/SWCF. These values include: the Jewish concept of Tikkun Olam, repairing the world, Jewish traditions, confidentiality, education, trust, collaboration, compassion, and inclusive philanthropy. You are also agreeing, through your continued academic and extracurricular pursuits, that you will contribute positively to your community and uphold these values for generations to come.
