For Students
DJCF/SWCF offers a range of scholarships, from college freshman to graduate school students. All high school seniors and current college and graduate students are invited to apply for the 2025-2026 school year. We are proud to offer scholarships that embrace individuals from all walks of life, faiths, and backgrounds. Our commitment to inclusivity ensures that everyone has the opportunity to pursue their educational dreams. Though we offer many scholarships, there is a single application that will allow a student to be considered for any scholarship for which they meet the qualifications. To see if you qualify, please start the application. After a few brief questions, you will be allowed to continue if you are eligible for at least one of our 60+ scholarships.
Some of our scholarships are restricted to certain demographics. The questions in the application are designed to determine which scholarships you are eligible for, and your answers will not be used for any other purpose.

For Prospective Donors
By establishing a scholarship fund at the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation, you can make a lasting impact in the lives of students seeking higher education. Whether you wish to support students pursuing specific fields of study, students in financial need, students with a specific background or interest, or students who demonstrate strong Jewish values, the DJCF/SWCF team will guide you through every step of the process.
How to Start Your Scholarship Fund:
Customize Your Fund: Choose specific eligibility criteria that align with your goals, such as academic achievement, financial need, or areas of study.
Funding Your Scholarship: Decide the amount and frequency of your financial contribution. You can establish a scholarship with a one-time donation or build the fund over time. DJCF/SWCF scholarships are invested for perpetual existence, and a spending policy will determine the amount of your annual award, with intention for it to grow over time. The minimum fund amount is $25,000. There is a per-award fee of $300 in addition to the DJCF/SWCF administrative fee.
Ongoing Involvement: Many donors choose to stay engaged by serving as a volunteer committee member, helping select scholarship recipients and attending award ceremonies. Donors are invited to attend our annual scholarship reception to see firsthand the remarkable students who have benefited from their generosity.
Tax Benefits: Contributions to the scholarship fund may provide significant tax benefits.
Our team at DJCF/SWCF is committed to helping you create a scholarship that reflects your values and impacts future generations. Together, we can open doors for students while fostering a sense of community and giving.
