To be eligible to apply for a scholarship a family must demonstrate financial need and live in one of the following counties: Dallas, Denton, or Collin. Camper(s) must also be entering 3-12 grade in Fall 2025. Please verify that this is a Jewish nonprofit overnight camp in the United States.
Funding is available from the Essie and Reuben Rosenbloom Foundation of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation as well as the Charlotte and Joe Webberman Jewish Teen Camp of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation. Please submit your application by 02/13/2025, 11:59PM CST.

Applications are now closed. The Dallas Jewish Community Foundation (DJCF) is honored to partner in the administration of Israel scholarship opportunities made possible by the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas (JFGD).
Eligibility Requirements:
- Israel-based, but do not have to be exclusively based in Israel
- At least 10 days in duration
- Include an Israeli or Jewish education component
Funds will be disbursed directly to the trip organizer, who must be a recognized 501c3 serving the Jewish community.
The 2023 application process is now closed. It will reopen in the Fall of 2024. The Sylvan T. Baer Foundation, Bank of America, N.A. Trustee was established in 1965 by Mr. Baer in honor of his parents to assist needy and deserving Jews in the Dallas Community. His forethought has allowed the distribution of approximately $7 million dollars. The Dallas Jewish Community Foundation works on behalf of Bank of America in identifying and recommending qualified Jewish organizations, such as synagogues, day schools and other Jewish organizations to receive funding.
The 2023 application process is now closed. Please check back in the Fall of 2024. This fund was established to honor the memory of Jill Stone through an annual grant to a charitable agency whose mission is to benefit the residents of Vickery Meadow.
Funding from the Janis Levine Music Women and Children’s Endowment Fund of the Dallas Jewish Community Foundation has helped organizations that provide for women and children for over 20 years. Every other year a different need and/or geographic area will be highlighted.
For 2024 the fund will focus on agencies in Israel that benefit women and children. Qualified agencies will receive a personal invitation to participate. If you feel that your agency qualifies, please reach out to info@djcf.org.
This fund was established to increase Jewish preschool enrollment and provide financial assistance to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity for a Jewish preschool education. Preschool directors apply for this scholarship on behalf of students with financial need.

Vicki Topletz endowed this scholarship in memory of her parents because she knows firsthand how much joy camp can bring to a child. Every summer Camp Simcha chooses a camper that will attend a session at no cost.

This camp scholarship was established to defray the cost for a camper to attend Greene Family Camp. The recipient is chosen by Greene Family Camp in partnership with the Vishnevetsky Family.
