Crisis Response for Israel
With the signing of the first phase of a peace agreement between Israel and Hamas, brokered with the help of international mediators and announced by President Donald Trump, Israel enters a new chapter of recovery and rebuilding after more than two years of war. While the ceasefire and the release of hostages mark a hopeful turning point, the needs on the ground remain urgent and complex.
Communities across Israel continue to grapple with the physical, emotional, and economic toll of prolonged conflict, displacement, and trauma. The extensive reconstruction of southern Israel, heavily impacted by the war, will require sustained efforts for years to come, alongside comprehensive support for victims as they begin their journey of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
DJCF is here to offer support and facilitate your giving along the way. We continue to monitor the needs of our local Jewish community as well as in Israel as the war continues and needs evolve. We will update funding opportunities to continue to respond to those needs.
