Securing Our Community
Amidst rising threats fueled by increased hate speech and antisemitism, Jewish organizations in Dallas, and around the world, are facing growing challenges in securing their campuses and protecting their communities. To help address this urgent need while safeguarding the identities of organizations with potential security vulnerabilities, we have established a Community Security Fund. This fund allows donors to support critical infrastructure, training, and crisis response efforts without exposing specific organizations to additional risk. Your support will help strengthen Jewish community security locally and globally during this increasingly volatile time.
DJCF – Securing Our Community Fund
Securing Our Community Fund will be distributed to local Jewish organizations to bolster security infrastructure, provide increased training and education, and support crisis response in Jewish communities throughout the world. Current security needs include purchasing additional cameras and monitoring systems, upgrading facilities, ensuring protective measures are in place on school and shul campuses, and expanding law enforcement presence as appropriate.

If you have a DAF with DJCF, you can log into your MY DJCF fund portal and submit a grant recommendation. If you need assistance, DJCF staff are available to guide you through the process.
Yes. DJCF is a 501(c)(3) public charity, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Donors receive a receipt for tax purposes upon making a contribution.
DJCF partners with vetted organizations and monitors the use of funds to ensure transparency and effectiveness. Updates are often shared with donors to highlight the outcomes of their generosity.

To make a grant through your donor-advised fund, simply log in to the My DJCF portal, where you can easily recommend grants to qualified organizations, track your giving history, and manage your fund.
