Become a Scholarship Committee Member
Each year we look for caring, detail-oriented volunteers to serve on the College Scholarship Committee. It is a unique committee as we meet only a few times in person or virtually. The majority of the time will be reviewing applications online at your own pace the end of February thru March. That way, each member can decide who they feel are the strongest candidates, without being swayed by others.
The majority of scholarships do not have a faith criteria so students from all walks of life apply. The committee is also a melting pot of different ages, field of interests, and backgrounds. If you would like to make a difference and join us, please complete the form below and we will contact you.
Why join the Scholarship Committee?
What makes this committee special is its flexibility and inclusivity. We meet only a few times, either in person or virtually, and most of the work is done independently online. From late February through March, members review scholarship applications at their own pace, allowing for thoughtful, unbiased evaluations of each candidate.
Our committee is a vibrant mix of ages, professions, and backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the students we serve. Most scholarships do not have a faith-based requirement, so applicants come from all walks of life, making your role even more impactful.
